    Did you really see that Armadillo? Are they as common as football-size rats in Chicago?

    We saw about a billion armadillos. Drove the dogs crazy. We also ran across several piles of armadillo remains - bits of shell and bone - pulled pieces from dog mouths on a regular basis...
